We have been alerted to a fraud scam which is currently being used in an attempt to steal funds from online banking accounts.
Fraudsters are contacting people and pretending to be from the Security or Fraud Department of another bank, advising that their systems have detected fraudulent transactions originating from accounts held with the bank that person uses, then obtaining passwords and log-in details.
